My tip for prospective students is to get your work done right away! Don't put it off until the last minute and you will find you have more free time or I should say less stressful free time.
» Read More1. Do not procrastinate. Class loads are heavy since this is an engineering school. Engineering is not easy! 2. Get involved. Making friends is easy when you get out there. 3. Build relationships with your professors. They are very helpful and want you to succeed. 4. Ignore the fake people. There's a lot of 'em, everywhere you go. Find your real friends.

» Read MoreMake sure you are prepared for the rigorous course load. Tech has higher standard of learning than most colleges, so the courses will be tough. Make sure you get a good foundation in high school. As always make sure you visit campus and apply early.
