There are a few programs that are exceptional and are definitely underrated. Otherwise, the school is generally well priced.

This school definitely is a bang for the buck because you get a quality education from a 4-year university without the high costs being involved.

You pay for what you get. There are some good professors that will make an impact on your life, but there are just as many professors that you'll wish you could forget about after three weeks sitting in their class. I would like to note that the labs I have been in so far have been shoddy and overpriced. The CHEM 112 lab book (written by the professor and required for the class for an exorbitant price) instructs students to pull test tubes out of boiling water with bare hands carefully and to use wads of paper towels to (hopefully) not burn your fingers on the way to the sink with beakers of boiling water. Be prepared to be scalded since the department doesn't seem to think that any sort of silicon pot holder type thing is a waste of money. As is having actual, working lab equipment available to undergrads not involved in research.

On a college students budget its nice knowing you don't have to pay to use the wellness center here on campus where there is a rock climbing wall, basketball courts, tennis courts, large swimming pool, and a large workout center with a wide variety of equipment. On weekends for a small amount of money you can participate in the many dances that are organized here on campus such as barn dances and black light dances. There are endless things for students to do here on campus even if reading a book sounds fun you can get lost in the three story library where each floor has a tremendous amount of books it would take years to read them all.
