Although South Plains College may not be the most pristine and innovative institution in the country, i have so far enjoyed my studies at this school. With small, flexible classes and truly caring and knowledgeable teachers, It gives the familiar feeling of a high school atmosphere with college level work; a perfect start to entering college on the way to transferring to a major university.

This college is very cheap and affordable, but also lacking in programs, sports and supplies. I would only recommend you get your basics done here, then transfer somewhere else. The drive from the city to SPC is also miserable.

The teachers are interesting, passionate and helpful. The class size is small enough for one on one help. Flexible about accepting transfer credits.

South Plains College is a great place to start. It's cheap and many classes and professors will try hard to work around your schedule. Classes are not to big so you will definately get alot of one on one time if you need it.
