SEMO is Greek life affiliated, which means there are a lot of fraternities and sororities. If you like partying then that is right up your alley, but if you enjoy outdoors a few miles off campus is a great Mississippi River view and the Trail of Tears.

SAC is a great way to get involved or be apart of the activities on campus. They have artists come and perform, and my favorite is the free Midnight movie at the Cinema in town.

You can go to the mall, movies, or out to eat, there are plenty of restaurants available off campus. If you're 21 and over, there are bars, and clubs you could go to.

There are many clubs and organizations you can take part in at SEMO. I always hear students talking about the latest party thrown at the University Center and how awesome our football team did the night before.

About 5 blocks from campus is Broadway street where students go to let loose. There are many bars and clubs where students can get together to have a good time. Sororities and Fraternities often throw themed parties at the clubs on Broadway. As for on-campus, there's always some entertainment and fun activities for students. Southeast host theatrical plays, famous guest speakers (like John Legend!), Carpe Diem, movie nights, ect. Other fun activities include: Brinner Night, where students pig out on favorite childhood cereals and pancakes at 9 p,m. International Student night (Carpe Diem)- theres an international food buffet, entertainment from all the international students and guest performances Salsa Dancing day- hosted by Spanish Club. Free salsa dancing lessons!
