The teachers here at SMCC give a real life prospective on what you are going to see out in the field. At times they will throw a lot of valuable information at you, but it is well needed information for your success at SMCC.

Southern Maine Community College is a great college for students who want a small college environment . I am happy here because the college class sizes are small and I have the opportunity to get to know my teachers. It is also located in a great location near the ocean and there is lots in the nearby city of Portland.

A well rounded college with multiple campuses meet students needs. The school has fabulous teachers that will take time out of their lives to help students if they do not understand something in class. The students that attend the college are social and are also helpful in classes.

Southern Maine Community College should actually be called a coastal college out of irony! It is right on the coast, but there is no way you can coast by. Even though it is a community college, you still have to apply yourself like any higher up college, and everyone here wants you to do just that.
