Hang out with friends! It's really easy to find people to go country dancing with, or people who are headed to the mall on a Saturday, or people who want to have an all-day movie marathon. Netflix is a good go-to, too, whether you're in a group or alone. Just make sure you take care of your other responsibilities, too!

There are plenty of school events to go to, especially the sports stuff, and I'm not aware if the school specifically bans parties, so there's that. You can also take the bus off campus for some fun, and they have this taxi-type-service thing where they'll take you back to campus regardless of where you're at, no questions asked. The bus is free and provided by the school, but the taxi-service-thing, I'm not sure about.

Boulevarding is the amazing tailgating and tenting experience that happens before every home football game at SMU. The greek life at SMU is the main source for parties and such, which usually take at a bar in Dallas.

There are hundreds of clubs to participate in and the University hosts large events on a weekly basis. Greek culture is very large on campus and many people go out to parties once or twice a week.

There are many opportunities for fun in the Dallas, Texas community. Pretty much anything you want to do is a short distance away from campus.

Since you are living in a city there is always something to do; such as movies or the mall (which is right down the street). There are frat parties every weekend. On campus events such as free movie screenings guest speakers and many multicultural events. You can always go out to eat at one the nice restaurants near campus and if you are 21 or older the bar scene is really nice.

Join a club, go to a party, go boulevarding (during football season), watch or participate in intramural sports - there's even a dodgeball competition.
