Around Town

The arts (both performing and visual) are huge at this campus. There is always a show, gallery, event, whatever to go to. There is always something to do. The SUU website offers a calendar to keep up with campus events and activities, which is really nice. SUU really tries to make the students feel welcome.

There's a lot of outdoor activities such as: hiking, biking, four wheeling, fishing, repelling, and swimming. There's also a few movie theaters, roller skating rink, and plenty of food.

The RHA puts on alot of events to go to, but in all you need to make friends and come up with fun crazy things to do on your own since Cedar City doesn't have that much to offer, but St. George is only 40 mins away for a good get away!

Very outdoorsy: hiking, biking, camping, mountain climbing, skiing, etc. There are a ton of clubs where people can go to have fun.

Heritage Center and Shakespeare Festival for productions. Zion National Park, Three Peaks and Kolob for your outdoor activities. other than that it's all about Walmart and the bowling alley.

Not much to do for fun, but you can be creative and make anything fun.

There is, surprisingly, a lot to do in Cedar. From hiking to skiing, movie theaters to bowling. You;ll never be bored.

Fun thins to do in Cedar City include SUU activities, shopping, movies, coffee dates, food, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, canyoneering, and more. The campus is 45 minutes away from St. George and 1.5 hours away from Las Vegas.

Racket ball, rock climbing, social dances, or joining any club you can imagine. Zion is less than an hours drive if hiking is your thing. Brian head isn't far for snowboarding and skiing. There is always a convocation of event happening at SUU

During the winter times they have a ski resort near by up in Brian Head so thats really cool if your into that or if you have never tried. They have a lot of National Parks around Cedar City so theres always something to do. If your 21+ Vegas is only an hr and half away which is AWESOME!!
