    Students should always come to class prepared and on time. A positive attitude should always be demonstrated because no one wants to have a hard time with their instructor. Also, ask for many questions if you cannot understand something.

Many of my teachers based final grades on participation and attendance- it can make or break you in the end. Also, the Success Center is a wonderful resource for students; they offer FREE tutoring for nearly every subject and FREE peer-review for the numerous papers you will have to write.
