Study hard and have a good relationship with your professors. The professors at SMC want to give you the tools so that when you transfer to a four year college you will do well.

SMC is a school with a student/teacher friendly environment. This school makes it easy for students to succeed in any and every area of study, and also makes the transfer process easy. With all the tools given to students, its easy to adjust, make friends, and be successful all while having fun!

The Faculty and Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of their fields. I have had an amazing experience so far as a freshman because my professors hold open office hours and are willing to help me outside of the classroom. I love the small college atmosphere here at Spartanburg Methodist College.
