Around Town

There is always something going on on campus! St. Kate's is home to the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium, the second largest theater in St. Paul. Many dance troupes, musical artists (such as Norah Jones, Chastity Brown, and Dessa), and speakers (including Maya Angelou) perform on the O'Shaughnessy stage at various points during the year. Furthermore, St. Kate's has 50+ student organizations and musical ensembles that students can partake in.

Theres lots of restaurants and shops close to campus that are within walking distance also the bus system can bring you to the Mall of America and other fun places around the city.

St. Kate's provides plenty of activities on campus, for free. Some of the events are movies, yoga, grocery bingo, and more.

There is a gym on campus. Clubs for days and always a student event going on.

Every week there are programs on the weekend that consist from showing of movies in a huge auditorium or a benefit ball that one can attend. There are also several shops near the school on Highland park such as Menchie's or Smash Burger. Grand Ave is also down the street so one can visit many shops and places to dine. Macalester and St. Thomas University is also near by the school.

Go to on-campus events, Highland Park movies and shopping, the Mall of America (via light rail), or just hang out.

There's an activités team which plans tons of awesome events every weekend, along with extra events for special occasions like holidays, finals, and current events. Many times, these events are free and have prized too! St. Kate's is also located in the middle of St. Paul, where there is always something going on around campus as well.
