The dining halls are always kept clean and that's great because no one wants to eat somewhere dirty and there are always multiple dishes to choose from at every meal. The only problem is that sometimes the selection from day to day can be limited and sometimes having pizza everyday can get a little old and unhealthy. Other than the dining hall there are also places like Subway and WOW! on campus as well that provide a great alternative to eating pizza and spaghetti for every meal.

SCSU seems to have a pretty good variety both on campus and within a short distance of campus. It's located within city limits only a few blocks from the downtown area which supports a varied dining and entertainment scene, which has both positive and negative aspects.

Plus side, there is a convenience store (albeit expensive). Downside, Garvey food isn't always good. It CAN have its good meals, but for the most part, you'd have to not be very picky.

Many options of delicious food and desserts, and the meal plans are very well priced compared to other schools.

The food is alright, you will get tired of it soon. Make sure you enjoy your parents meal and cherish it before coming to school.

The great thing about SCSU is the campus has a Subway, coffee shop, burger joint, Pizza Hut and a wing shop. You can also go to the dining hall for breakfast and lunch.

The food is yummy Which could be a problem if your worried about that freshman 15. It's a buffet style and on the average week a lot of the same choices are offered, so it can get a little old.

The Greek Life on campus is not a huge ordeal, but you do see them. The majority of the time that I will see them is when they are trying to raise money for their houses and charities. Once one of the guys' house was doing an all night camp out on the campus. They were playing music during the day, and playing games at night to stay awake. It was a pretty interesting sight to see in the middle of the night. Also many of the times that you will see any of the Greeks on campus, doing something other than going to class, is them selling hot dogs. This is a pretty popular thing for them to do to raise money since they are cheap and everyone on campus will be hungry at some point.

I hear the greek life is really fun. Some of them are even really nice, and aren't like what you see in the movies.

Greek life is pretty popular on campus. The Fraternities have houses on campus that they hosts events at. Members from the frats promote students to join quite frequently as well.
