Overview of St. John's University

I very much enjoy my time at st. johns university, is a very friendly envirnment, and eventough its a big school everyone still interacts during school events.

It's great to be so close to the city, yet St. John's also has that traditional college campus feeling.

Definitely fun, and made lots of friends. Unfortunately, far away from home didn't always sit well with me, but if that does not bother anyone, go for it!

St. John's is a university simply full of opportunities for anyone who applies. For anyone who transfers, and for prospective students as well. There are ways to contribute to the New York community all the time, students can meet wonderful people every single day. Professors themselves are very helpful, as well as the staff. Anyone who knows their way around St. John's knows someone who can help a student out. Help is one thing that does not lack in such an amazing and wonderful school. Everyone does their best to reach out to those in need. It is extremely easy to make friends in such an environment. The people you meet will all teach you at least one thing in your life that you will either remember or begin to use. Growing as a person becomes easier the more people you know here. There are events here almost every week and weekend (practically every day). Students organize most of the events and that is what is so great when you meet someone as passionate about your school. Your university will become your home, you have to love it and be open to the amazing opportunities that lie ahead. The campus itself is beautiful, you can always walk around and find a squirrel or a bird, or a snowman in the winter time.

It's ok. The students at St. John's are brilliant and create a good social atmosphere that is easy to study in.
