Be yourself! St. Olaf can be a little preppy and overly studious at times, but the students are incredibly friendly and are open to new experiences and people. Don't be afraid to ask tons of questions about anything and everything when you visit- the guides enjoy answering questions, and most of them are pretty frank about what they do and don't like about the school.

The most important part of your application is your essay. Let the admissions officers see who you are and why you care. If you aren't sure what you want to major in, or are worried that St. Olaf doesn't have your major, don't worry too much. Most students come to St. Olaf undecided, and the liberal arts education you receive does a great job of helping you find out what you're interested. The classes you take will not only help you learn more within your major, but will help you to be well-rounded, academically. Also, if St. Olaf doesn't have your major, you can always design your own major!
