Most students at this campus are practically in a sport or club. There are many activities to choose from, such as Tahitian dancing or late night talent shows.

Party, go to the museum, lay out in White Plaza, go to a concert, join student groups, sit up with your dorm mates all night and dream. Enjoy your time at Stanford, there literally is no where else like it.

There's so many activities to do at Stanford, from mundane fountain hopping (yes, they chlorinate the fountains so that one can SWIM in them:) to attending a lecture of a prime minister! There's lots of options and SF is a short drive away.

Partying is obviously a big thing on campus, so if that's for you, you'll have no problem finding fun. But if you are not a partier, there are often performances, trips to SF, movies, more formal dining options, etc. offered to Stanford students, and often subsidized by the university. You'll have no problem having fun at this school!

Because of Stanford's large campus, most students stay on campus on the weekends. I actually love this since you interact with people more. But, if you ever do want to get off campus, San Francisco and Palo Alto are easily accessible through the CalTrain or Marguerite (Stanford's FREE bus service).

Fountain hopping (an old tradition), meeting amazing people in your dorm, going to San Francisco, learning something new about yourself, being in the heart of Silicon Valley!

If you want you can go to Santa Cruz Beach, or the mountains, or San Francisco, or just stay on campus.

If I were to list everything one can do, it could take years. But the fact is there is a plethora of things to do on campus and off given that great destinations like San Francisco or Santa Cruz are both just an hour away.
