Around Town

Plenty of opportunities.

The college is located in North Canton Ohio and is only a few seconds away from a place we call The Strip which offeres plenty of stores to go look at, restuarnts, also a movie theater. Also, there is our mall that's only about 5mins away as well.

Well honestly there isn't much to do in this area except go to the mall, go to the movies, or bowling or something along those lines.

Locally there are many options. Stark Parks, several amazing restaurants and night life activities.

Get involved in student organizations. Get to know your classmates. Participate in the student activities that the offer throughout the year like the annual halloween party.

With the campus being a community college, there aren't many places to go and hang out. However, there are multiple rooms and halls to sit and chat with friends, or even study for an approaching test. All around campus there are tons of restaurants, movie theaters, a mall, and other businesses to go and take a load off.

Hunting

My first semester I was introduced to Hacky Sack which introduced me to a lot of other students.

Stark State is in the heart of Belden Village. So if you have a break between classes you can jump in your car and surely find something to do within a 5 mile radius.
