I am currently a part time student and taking my basics. My teachers understand the busy lives of everyone and are willing to work with you as long as your willing to learn. I am learning events that happened in history that I already learned, but it is in more detail and I am learning more about them then I expected. State College of Florida is definitely a place to start where you can learn quite a bit, for a cheaper price than a university.

There are study rooms available for students who prefer a quiet environment and multiple places to study on campus. The counselors are always ready and happy to help you each semester to keep track of your progress. It is inexpensive and the perfect place to get started if you're considering transferring after two years or even staying there for four years.

The State College of Florida is a small school with a relaxed environment. It is a good stepping stone when you are fresh out of high school and don't feel ready to leave the nest. It is also a wonderfully affordable option!

It reminds me of my high school. If you want to get something done you have to keep at it, they don't go out of their way to help you. Plus most of the time the people in the office are out every time I would try and see them. The professors on good, its the administers that need some work.

It's nice going there because it isn't as expensive as going straight to a university. They kind of prepare you for that moment when you actually go to a bigger school. There are great professors only a few not so great but overall its a good school.

Overall State college of Florida is a nice college. I wouldn't pursue an actual degree here (even though they offer good programs) but just use it as a transfer. Good teachers, nice environment, good learning experiences.
