    Just a heads up, there is mandatory chapel and visitation rules. The school is full of athletes from around the country which is fun, but the strict rules can put a damper on the college experience.

    Be prepared to be around Christian students, both the judgmental and accepting kind, but also be prepared for non-Christian students. Go into it with an open mind.

    Sterling College is in a small-town of 2,400 people. While this may seem like a turn off, it's a great community and they really support the students at SC. The town and the college of a small-town since of community. While many people may be leery about SC, there are always students from out-of-state, and out of town who stay during the summers, and have stayed in Sterling upon graduation.
