Go outside! There is always* something happening. Whether students are relaxing in hammocks by the fountain in the center of campus, or playing volleyball in the sand court, or attending cultural credit events, students are always interacting.

There's plenty of things to do for fun at Stetson! You can take a trip to the beach, to Orlando (and other close cities), or just chill out and walk around town!

Personally I hang out with my friends and we travel to Sanford or Daytona to relax on the days we have free time together. We also get together and play video games, go to concerts and party. The frats are nothing special unless you like getting wasted or have friends in the fraternities.

People complain about having nothing to do, and DeLand is a small town, but if you get involved on campus, you will almost always have things to do/work on. The only time there's seemingly nothing happening is the weekend, and that's because most people leave campus. If you don't have a car, you probably will get bored, though.

Not a whole lot to do in DeLand because it is such a small town. Their are bars and places to eat in the town but not a whole lot else.
