All in all great school. Just choose who you hang out with. Just finished my freshman year and I love the school.

I think the community at Stony Brook is amazing. All the undergraduate students truly dedicate themselves to their respective undergraduate colleges and to school work. The advisors are amazing and they are always there to help. The environment is great and the school is huge and they reward the students with so many opportunities to thrive. I give SBU a 9 out of 10.

Stony Brook University provides a very broad range of activities, from the constant partiers, the gaming communities and everything in between. The teachers are usually hit or miss, but even the ones who are a miss still provide an excellent education. The dining is varied but often times after a student picks their favorite foods they tend to get old and repetitive.

Stony Brook is a great place to get a very diverse education, but it is easy to feel lost here. Generally the professors are decent, people are friendly, dorms are livable, and classes are bearable (depending on your major). It's a very average school.

Stony Brook is an incredible place to strive for academic achievement, make new friends, and learn about yourself. The classes are challenging, it's easier to find people who think like you, and the curriculum encourages people to leave their comfort zone. Definitely, a great place to study.

Stony Brook University is one the best universities in NY. It is at a good distance from the hustle and bustle of the city life, giving you a peaceful environment to stay focused. But it also has an exciting campus life and student body where you can meet students from all different backgrounds and interests.

Stony Brook provides great classes at an affordable price. The material is challenging and detailed. Tutoring is provided for students who use it to their advantage. A lot of great technology is integrated into the school system so students can access useful resources easily.

I am very excited in attending Stony Brook. I heard that the tuition is affordable and has lot of activities so it will be easy for new students to fit in easily.

It seems pretty big but once you get comfortable it seems smaller. The faculty and students here are really friendly and nice. Overall, I love this school.

It's a large and active campus. The courses are incredibly challenging and worthwhile. And there is plenty of opportunity to find some of interest through this school.
