    Make the professors your best friends. Or at least make yourself recognized and keep your professor up to date with your absences and assignments.

    Strayer is a lil' pricey but the more classes you take the cheaper it is.

    The professors are great and the staff is very nice and helpful. I walk in and I feel I'm important. My advisers remember me by name although I rarely speak with them.
    Am learning a lot

    Strayer University gives you the option to chose the electives you want and which basic sciences you want to take. The professors are great teachers and show their experience through their teachings and advice.

    Great for these types of students

    Great for full time parents who for people who work and have families to attend to. They have online courses there to fit your schedule and to adjust around your daily living activities. It is also great for people who travel a lot. That way, you will be able to log into your classes no matter where in the world you are. Isn't it amazing???

    Go with your gut and start a new career at Strayer University. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

    The bang for the buck LOL well it is very costly. However, there are financial aid programs to help for people in need. Also the school itself can and will provide you with funds each quarter for books and accessories.

    My fellow classmates are wonderful, we all learn from each other. Our discussion threads always provide helpful hints and resources when needed.

    Strayer University is a wonderful school to attend. They have online classes and free tutors available when you need them 24 hours a day. The professors are very open and ready to answer any questions you may have.

    i have had some bad experiences at the university based on the office personelly not informing the correct information

    classes have beed fairly easy, but you must do the work.

    make sure that you do not recieve too much money from loans, because you are only allowed to recieve so much and if you take more than needed for classes you might not have the funds to complete your degree.

    i think it is great for parents and workers as you are able to do your work at any time of the day or night. there is no reason to go to a class room. they do offer both on campus and online.

    make sure that you are in constant contact with the office and make sure that all your questions are answered. make sure to do any pretesting first.

    The campus and neighborhood is safe for the most part. Mainly because the city cops in Chesapeake are no nonsense and one of their departments is about half a mile up the street from the campus.

    Again, I am still research this aspect of the college.

    I haven't seend any clubs or activities that the college offer but I am still researching that.

    Online students, business students, full time job students, and students with young children will thrive at this college because of the flexible class schedules.

    Compared to my old college, I am saving about $4000 a term and still I have the respect of attending a great college.
    What to do for fun

    Within a 3 radius of the campus, there is not much to do for besides shopping and eating. I love eating but not that big of a shopper.

    My campus is in a location where there is many different restaurants to eat at. However, the main intersection in very busy so if you hate traffic, this may be a negative for you.

    I don't believe Strayer offers Dorms to stay in.

    I feel that just about all of the courses the offer in certificate, diploma, Associates, Bachelors, and Master Degree programs will prepare any student for the workforce once they have graduate or advance their careers.

    Tips for prospective students would be to have an idea of what they want to major in and I all of your unofficial transcripts in hand if your transferring in. Also make sure that the right fafsa form is already complete and you choose them as one of the schools to receive it. This will make the process go much smoother and faster.

    From the moment I walk in, the staff was so helpful and kind. They listened to my needs and worked with me to come up with the best academic plan. I am excited to start school again this spring with Strayer because they make me feel like they care about me.

    Strayer is a great school to attend. I love that they give you a scholarship based upon the credits that you transfer. I love the admission counselors they stay with you until you get everything situated and follow you for the first two weeks of class.

    The buildings are locked for the evening hours after the first class starts. The security officer will walk you to your car if he sees that you are going out the door by yourself and will stand nearby until you start up your vehicle. I have never seen such caring people at any other institutions before.

    Strayer will develop a curriculum class and bring in a professor to teach the class when a subject of interest is presented by students. The class needs at least 5 students to be enrolled in order for the class to be researched and offered. I think this is a great idea that I have never experienced in any other college or university setting before.
    Academic Rigor

    The classes require discipline and dedication on the part of the student. The professors are there to assist with extra tutoring on any subject matter that the student may encounter to be too difficult. Attendenance is of stressed and of utmost importance in order not to fall behind on lesson plans.
    Tips for prospective students

    Please make sure you are willing to make a commitment to your future. The professors and all staff are educators that are dedicated to helping you succeed. If you are willing to give 100 percent they are willing to give that and more. The selection of topics on their curriculum is overwhelming for the business administration and criminal justice programs. I love this school and wish I had enrolled sooner.

    This is a fantastic place for those who can't get to the school everyday. With this school you can complete your education around your schedule.

    I really don't have a lot of time for fun, but when i do my favorite past time is Karaoke. I also like spending time with my family and traveling when I get the chance.

    I have been lucky enough to join the strayer family and take advantage of the ability to focus on getting a career in law like I always wanted. Being a lawyer has always been my dream and Strayer is allowing me to make it happen.

    Strayer online is one of the best schools for those who have a busy schedule and can't attend classes on a regular basics. The teachers are great and always helpful as well as the staff which are always available. Strayer makes it easy for you to succeed in your goals in life.

    It is a private school, but what they have to offer, in my opinion is worth it. Especially if you are coming from another private post-secondary college. They were able to transfer almost all of my credits.

    It is great for students who have already attending a private school and want to transfer their credits to futher their education. It is also great for those students who need flexible schedules due to their work schedule.

    Most of my classes ore doneonline, I have taken some classes on campus and the professors are very helpful. Some classes at strayer I would never recommend that they are taken online.

    I would tell prospective students to look into other opportunities before applying at strayer. they are expensive and they don't provide guidance for your advacement.

    I would not recommend this school to people on a budget and want to get the most for their money. They have alot of classes/ subjects but do not offer all of them on-line or offer day classes. I wish I had done more research on strayer before signing my life to them.

    Try to work with the same people when it come to your educational plan, and your financial aid. Less confusion on your part. Strayer University have a mentoring program for students, but it's not set up the way it should be. You basically have to make contact with your own mentor that have some type of connection to Strayer University.

    Strayer University students usually hook up outside of school. Strayer have a Facebook app where students can log into and talk to other Strayer University students in the states where they are located in.

    Strayer University campus professors are more involved in your education. The class discussions are a part of your grade. So make sure that you are prepared before your week class such as reading your chapters, writing your papers, and researching. Online classes are not for everyone. So if you decide to register for online classes make sure you are completely involved with the course, chapters, classmates, and the professor at all times. If you don't know, or don't understand quickly contact your professor, classmates, or the help desk.

    When or if you decide to attend Strayer University make sure you read every paperwork that you sign or electronic sign. Also make sure that all your financial aid funding is in order. Make sure that you have enough funding before you register for classes.

    Make sure you stay in touch with your advisor. Read each teacher syllabus even through they are suppose to be the same some teachers try to get over. Also keep in touch with the financial aid department to make sure you is receiving the correct amount of money.

    Look at many different colleges. You want to make sure you find a school that has everything that you are looking for. If possible visit the campus talk to students that are currently attending the school you choose. Get as much information as possibles before making your final decision. Finally enjoy the ride. You want this to be a time that you never forget something you can share with your children and grand children years from now.

    Fundraisers for breast canser awareness is a tradition I had seen Strayer committment to for the three years I been there. Strayer University always have a summer picnic.

    Open communication is key with all staff and professors. Telling them what you want and how they can assist you in communicating is always an open door.

    I love to hang out at the beach and soak up the sun with my kids and family. Go out with friends and socialize, go on nature walks and coupon shopping.

    Strayer has a new Starbucks Cafe in the comfortable student lounge. Students are able to use their debit or credit cards to purchase coffee. It is minuted away from fine dining and restaurants.

    This particular College has no dorm. I love Strayer, it is five minutes away from my home. Strayer has many colleges across the globe and is currently growing.

    Three Stars. The academic level of courses can be a beast. If taking more than one course, plan ahead of time to see identify whats ahead. Work on each subject an hour to two hours a day so that you won't get behind which can become overwhelming.

    If your a student and looking for a college that fits your agenda, Strayer is it! The professors are sensitive when it comes to students agendas outside of the campus. Strayer was built for those who engages in busy life styles, wether your taking online or on campus courses, at Strayer University you can earn your degree.

    I take online classes but I have been on campus. And I can assure that there are no campus safety issues. The campus is in a well lit, beautiful building and the entire 2nd floor is dedicated to the campus classes. The location of the school is in a very good area.
    Clubs and Activities

    The campus does offer clubs and activities. But for online students, most of the time, work trumps clubs and activities. But for anyone who has the time to participate in clubs and activities they can find many.
    Great for these types of students

    This school is great for all types of students. Single mothers, married people, people with and without kids. Students who may have struggled while acquiring their undergraduate degree will find relief in the graduate program where only one class, 4.5 credit hours, is required at one time.
    Bang for the buck

    This school is a decent bang for the buck. The books will be shipped to you after getting the book voucher from the school and shipping charges are included. Never use basic ground shipping, always strive for the $13 shipping deal, or more, otherwise your books get lost in the mail, and never arrive.
    Academic Rigor

    The classes are challenging and the papers will be graded efficiently. Always check for errors and use your spell check. You are only required to take one class at 4.5 credit hours and only have to manage your life and schedule around one class.
    Tips for prospective students

    Don't worry if you need extra time on your assignments because the Professors work with you. Expect at least 4-6 writing assignments per class 6-8 pages long. The students in the classes all seem to want to succeed and will give useful comments in discussions.

    The initial sign up process, to get the money, came with ease. After the initial sign up process, it was difficult to receive any feedback from my financial aid representative. Actually, she has not called me back yet. Financial aid is sometimes a hassle.

    Academic Rigor was about right for me. If you're not a self starter and a very independent learner you will not succed online. Dedication is the key to keeping a good GPA I graduated with a 3.5 GPA with my BBA degree.

    Get everything in writing. Don't ever have a major illness nobody cares If you take online courses read the entire textbook from front to back and take small quizzes in the back don't take complicated courses such as Descriptive Statistics online you need to go on campus for that.

    Suffered a stroke and failed my class, asked to re-enrolled after recovery, spoke to Director. Khan who stated he would get back to me and he never did, I am still not finished with my MBA because of his lack of respect for me as a female.

    Strayer University is definitely worth the money I'm paying for my education. Everybody there is supportive and attentive. The professors want to make sure that you understand the materials covered and at end of each quarter you will confident about the course in which you are enrolled.

    The Nutter Center is in walking distance, and there's stores all around but for the most part this is a school for working adults pursuing their education.

    I would give them a 5. I think campus safety is vital to all colleges. I think Strayer has a great safety policy in place because I never heard about anything bad happening there.

    I would give them a 1. I have one regret about going to Strayer online and that is the fact that doing so does not allow me the chance to join any clubs. My 12 hour work schedule does not allow me the chance for any activities outside of work.

    Even thou I am in college online, I do go to the college to get help. They are in just the right location for me because by the time I leave work it is already 7;00. I can go straight to the college and get tutoring help before they close,

    There are a lot of things a student can do here in Greensboro, near the campus. They can range from going to church or parting all night. The choices here are3 endless.

    4. The work is hard, but durable. You have to stay focus and attentive but you can succeed. It is demanding and critical thinking is vital in order to succeed but it is well worth the hard work in the end.

    Online classes and attending classes would be an advantage to you, due to the fact that they have great instructors at the college. Tudors are also there to help you when needed. I believe you can succeed at Strayer if you try.

    Strayer provide financial loans and grants for continuing education. Its also gives additional resource for school. I rate Strayer at 8 or above. Online courses are provided for working individuals who are determine to reach higher learning. The quality at Strayer has been proven over the years and successful in warm welcoming. It makes you feel right at home. The campus locations are within 25 to 50 miles radius its really convenient for students. Strayer accommodate the lifestyle of individuals with all kinds of working environments. Its very possible to finish college with an high GPA with flexible scheduling.

    I read the Bible, or play games on the computer. I love sports and going to the movies. My alternative time usually consist of mostly watching wheel of fortune.

    Being an online student, I wouldn't know how dorm life is. But what I can say that my school is very flexible to my schedule. And I can further my education in the comfort of my own home. Which is very helpful because I have more time with my son.

    I'm a single mom and enjoy spending time with my 14 year old son. He and I enjoy participating in martial art. I love reading, exercising, jogging and playing softball.

    Excellent. There is a patrol officer patrolling the area throughout the day. In addition, the school is located near a police precinct.

    There are several locations in the Atlanta area. This is unusual considering the fact that the main office is located in Maine. However, the school operates like a well oiled machine. Any issues I've had, have been resolved immediately.

    I suggest joining clubs associated with your degree because if you need help with homework or studies, you can form study groups. Also form study groups with your classmates.

    To get the most value out of your books, I suggest getting them online versus at the bookstore. Tuition is a lot more reasonable since they offer discounts if your employer is on their list. They also offer in house scholarships for each degree programs. They offer associates degrees to masters degrees in several programs. Also they are an accredited school that is interested in helping you succeed.

    This school works with real working adult schedules. Those who work from 8am to 5pm, all of your classes will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 6pm to 10pm.

    The campus that i have been attending for the 2011-2012 semesters is the North Charlotte campus located in Concord NC. The campus is near concord mills and by zaxby's, Taco bell. Unusual there is park area where every body park there cars and that where students park without fees.

Also we can live campus on break and get something to eat from the restaurants that are near by the campus.     I have to pay out of pocket to complete my final four classes because the FA office didn't inform me that I had used all of my student loan money up. This is the same loan that when I applied for completely stated that I was borrowing enough money to complete my degree. Well the money has disappeared due to tuition constantly going up higher and higher each year. So now I'm in an awful position as a honor student who has worked so hard to accomplish my goal and put in this type of position.

    Great school for working Adults and anyone looking for a quality education. Please make sure you stay on top of how much money you borrow from your student loan or you will be in the same boat as I am now. This put me in an unfortunate position.

    I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and family members. I also enjoy playing billards, so much so I won a couple of tournaments. My new hobby now is moving hopping which is something I've never tried in my wounder years.

    There is no cafeteria on the premises however, there are several restaurants with in walking distance.

    This campus does not offer dooms but the proximity to my home is unbeatable. It is a 5-7 minute commute.

    I don't start classes until January 7, 2013 but the dean of instruction and the campus librarian have both given me the confidence that all material as far as Learning Resources, tutoring and student assistance are available should I need them so I think I will better be able to speak to this subject once I have started classes.

    I would recommend that anyone considering furthering their education contact Strayer University. Rick was very helpful and exhibited a genuine concern with not only ensuring I choose a major that I was comfortable with but he expressed a concern that he wanted to see me complete the program and that is not a quality I've seen in my pass endeavors.

    I rate Strayer 9 out of 10 on courtesy, staff assistance and campus setup. The staff we helpful in directing me and assisting with the decision of what my major would be. They were all knowledgeable in their perspective areas and answered all of my questions with precision. The facility was well laid out and easy to maneuver around and that made me feel very confident that they were going to be organized and helpful.

    When you are in school there is no time for fun. You have full access to the computer lab and you have a educated person there that can help with studies. You also have tutor or more help classes on Saturday that can earn you extra points if you need them.

    Not recommended for anyone under the age of 22. I started here at 18 right after high school. The people here are all over 35 and feel that they know so much but, half of them don't even do their work. They are just looking for a teacher who doesn't teach much.

    I feel safe when I attend my classes at Strayer University and there is always a security guard to assist you with any safety concerns you may have.

    The work is tough in the aspect you have to push yourself to get the work done. Being online I think you lose a little bit of the stuff you learn if you were in a classroom.

    Live off campus.

    I attend online classes since I have been enroll. The professors are fair the courses are interesting. The staff try to allow you to focus on your studies and not worry about everything else.
