    It is a great starter school for the money. The professors usually teach at the bigger and more expensive schools in the surrounding area but use the same material and lectures.

    If you don't know where you want to go or what you want to major in I would suggest going to Suffolk first. Its a great way to try out different classes and majors without spending tons of money at a 4 year private school. Also if you stay in the SUNY schools most if not all of your credits transfer.

    The best part of Suffolk is the price. I maybe pay $2,500 per semester as a full-time student, and I can take care of all of the classes that I would have had to take at a $26,000 college. What makes it even better is that it's close to home so I don't have to waste gas money or pay for a dorm.
