    I would say one very important thing is to go to the campus involvement fair if you can and find clubs that strike your interest. It's something that will get you excited and find people that like the same things that you do.

    Get involved on campus, and don't be afraid to try new things! I joined the Women's Rugby Club within my first week on campus. I had never played rugby before and had no clue what I was doing, but I made lots of great friends and found a new passion! Don't be afraid to be yourself; that's your best bet for finding what you are truly passionate about!

    You must bleed orange! The school spirit here is insane but it's what brings us together and makes such a large school feel smaller as you bond over a common interest. But in all honesty the school is what you make of it.

    When moving-in in August, bring a standard size fan. The dorms are not air-conditioned and the sun is working overtime to compensate for the long vay-cay starting in late October, early November. When preparing to trek through piles of slippery, icy snow, invest in a sturdy, reliable, thermo-lite pair of snow boots. Those boots will be as important as your laptop. Please buy some.
