Around Town

Being in a sorority or a fraternity is definitely a great option if that's what you're interested in. The night life in Syracuse is also good. There are a few bars on campus if you are 21+, otherwise there are house parties and other events that take place on the weekends. The

Syracuse is a party school, which is what a good portion of students do on the weekends, party. The school does plan Friday night activities for those who don't party, but Saturdays and Sundays, you are on your own.

There are plenty of clubs and there are virtually parties everywhere.

Destiny USA is a huge mall in Syracuse with practically every store and attraction you can ask for. The have a giant movie theater, restaurants, tons of shopping stores, and even amusement park rides. There is also a great place in downtown Syracuse called Armory square with lots of great little boutiques and shops and delicious restaurants such as Pastabilities. Downtown, there is also the wonderful Everson Museum and delicious Dinosaur BBQ. If you like nature, there is the Green Lakes National State Park not to far from Syracuse.

Everything. There is always something going on. Be it a speaker, a large event, a sports game, a march, a gathering, a movie. There is always something.

Workout! Take advantage of the gyms and get ready for spring break early. There are parties all the time whether its a off-campus, frat, or a south party, expect them in the weekend. Syracuse University puts on many events such as concerts, banquets, comedy shows, laser tag, ect. Be on the look out!

On the weekends, there are always student events such as concerts, or performances. The schools does throw a couple parties a year!

There are so many things to do at Syracuse! Destiny USA, a huge mall, has so many stores, restaurants, not to mention a movie theater, an indoor racetrack, and a high ropes course. Syracuse also offers many good concerts throughout the year. If you are a fan of sports, make sure to hit up the basketball, football, and lacrosse games!

For fun I hang in the lounge with my friends while we do homework. Then on the weekends we go to parties at the frat houses or other house parties near by.
