You are likely at TCC for three reasons: you slacked off in high school, you did not know where to go after high school or you want to save money. The classes at TCC do well for the student's pocket, and you will feel good after taking a class in which you've built a solid foundation for upper-level courses for a 4 year university and saved money at the same time.

Some of the classes are worth it if you get the passionate teacher, but I had to take 2 of the same classes because they wouldn't give me the credit for the 1/2 course and the books are too expensive. Try Boundless.com for books or rent a hard copy at Chegg.com.
