Food and Dining i have only eaten at the terra cafe once or twice over the last two years and i believe they are over-priced, but right down the street you have the main street that has a bunch of fast food places.
Dorm Life there are no dorms for this college.
Academic Rigor none.
Tips for prospective students try to make a least one friend in each class so you have someone to rely on for note taking and whatnot if you have to miss class for any reason.
In three sentences this is a very laid back school and the teachers are that way as well. a lot of choices when it comes to carreers and the academic advisors are very knowledgeable in their profession. teachers are lenient up to an extent and the health field, such as nursing, you are almost a family there and everyone tries to help one another.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There are always a guard walking around on campus and your guaranteed to find one at the desk in the main building. I have not had a problem with feeling unsafe but if someone was to feel unsafe the guard will escort you where ever you need to be. There is not much crime or violence because everything is in buildings but if something was to happen they would be there to help.
Clubs and Activities They have an astronomy club, math club, nurses association, phi theta kappa, and if someone was interested they could even create their own club. There are not many clubs right now but there are always activities going on even outside of campus. Last year I was able to go to the under ground railroad museum in Cincinnati, Ohio for free through Terra.
Great for these types of students If your looking for a school but you don't know where you want to go or what you want to major in Terra is the right place to be. Maybe you are to overwhelmed by people and big schools; if so this is the place to be the classes are perfect size. Its affordable and gives you time to and take classes to figure out what you enjoy.
Bang for the buck Everyone is friendly on campus and it's not hard to make a new friend. If you get bored you can go to the rec room to watch tv, play pool, foes ball, or just hang out with your friends. On Wednesdays they even have free popcorn. About once every free weeks they are doing something to get people involved on campus.
What to do for fun Even though it is a small community college there is always something to do. They have different activities such as volley ball teams and kick ball. They also have a rec room with a pool table, fose ball table, tv, a gym and a basketball court. Terra also hosts different types of things on campus such as movie nights, halloween parties, and other fun activities.
Food and Dining The cafe is excellent. The chefs are very good and what they do and are willing to make you anything you want and it will always taste delicious. I am personally at the cafe at least twice a week.
Dorm Life There is currently no dorm life but, They are talking about have dorms on campus. This is something I have spoken about multiple times and I'm glad to see they're finally doing such. Even though I am transferring and will not be at Terra anymore I feel like that is a positive thing for Terra to do.
Academic Rigor Professors focus on what needs to be done and teach everything well without forcing it down your throat. They have a help center that will help you with your math and writing anytime you need them. Professors are willing to take time out of their day to help you and they all know you personally by name unlike large universities.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you try as hard as you can, always ask the professors for help. There are many helpful professors at Terra that are always willing to help out. Never give up and always follow through with your plans. There is a test center that can answer any question you have.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Campus is not large, giving a sence of locational security. The security guards are stationed in one building, but are often walking around. You have the option to be escorted to your car if you feel uncomfortable after night classes.

Clubs and Activities Math Club, Nurse Club, LGBT Club, pretty much anything you would like, they have. And if not, you have opportunities to start your own clubs.
Great for these types of students Any type of student would be comfortable here. There is such a wide variety of classes and class types. There are hands on types of classes along with book based classes. You also have the option of an on campus class, an online class, or a hybrid of the two. They are also very flexible with work schedules and fmaily schedules.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Everything seems pretty normal to me.

Food and Dining The food in Terra Vue Cafe is GREAT! Everything from the Pizza to the salad!
Dorm Life Unfortunately Terra does not have dorms yet, they have been taking surveys about possibly building dorms, but I am quite shocked at the price they want to charge.
