A school with a different atmosphere, connected to the blackbrush and mesquite outdoors. This school has a beauty that not many see, but the local wildlife make it unique. This university is on par when it comes to academics, but it is not a very populated in students. This university is small compared to others, but it has everything students need.

It is a great school that offers many opportunities. It challenges the students to perform really well academically. It also incorporates campus social activities that allow the students to participate actively.

Texas A&M International University, the name of the university is very self explanatory. The campus is very diverse, you get to meet people and make friends from other countries. the campus students and as for the faculty are friendly and help you in anything you need.

Texas A&M International University might not be a big school, but the fact that it isn't so big makes those who attend be closer. Everyone I have met so far is so nice and the staff here is always willing to help out students. This campus is really something I never thought existed, and that is that I live in this city!

In a scale from one to ten I would give TAMIU a ten. The scale does not even do the University justice. My actual rate for TAMIU would be out of this world.

I have been so blessed by attending TAMIU because I have learned about the diverse cultures of international students. The university has done a great job at helping students release some stress with so many fun activities throughout the semester. Plus it promotes a lot of school spirit.

While Laredo does not seem like the most exciting city on the map, TAMIU is a small community in itself with activities and showcases that can keep you interested. With that being said, it is very difficult to feel connected to the university, it seems as if everyone tries their very best to avoid socializing in this school. TAMIU is a great university when it comes to studies, but seems to do little to bring students together the way any other university would.

The Academics offered are good, great quality, and at a great cost! The professors go above and beyond to help students. The school and the faculty are amazing and friendly; they encourage us to do everything we can and want to do.
