What I usually do for fun is pond hopping. At A&M there is a tradition called pond hopping and what you basically do is jump in all of the water fountains around campus before the end of your freshman year. It's and amazingly fun experience that advise everyone who attends A&M to do this.

There are plenty of parks in the area, of course north gate is always fun, and there are so many students here so something is always going on.

Go dancing in Bryan, the town next door.

There's plenty to do for fun! Texas A&M has tons of athletic events that many people like to go to, take football for example. There is also a lot of intramurals to participate in. Texas A&M has one of the highest number of student organizations on campus and they are extremely rewarding and fun!

The country western dance halls are very popular in this college town. You'll learn how to two-step in no time. If that's not your thing, with all the organizations on campus, there is always a cool event happening, be it a concert, musical, a speaker, or a play.
