Honestly, at TCU...get hammered. What are you expecting me to tell you what there is to do for fun? Play ultimate Frisbee? Well sure, but that's only fun under the premise that you're going to be able to get hammered with friends after you play. Better start building up your alcohol tolerance now, BEFORE you come to TCU. You don't want to look bad.

Living on campus allows you to see everything TCU has to offer including bounce houses in the commons or a christmas tree lighting during the holiday season. The football games are always a good time, or any sport you may enjoy watching, TCU has it all. Also if you are into greek life, they have that as well to meet many new people.

At least once a week, TheCrew has some sort of event in the commons on campus. It's arts and crafts, sometimes there's food, whatever. At least once this semester they've had a bounce house, trampolines, something similar to Build-A-Bear, and much more.

One could stay on campus the whole year and never get bored. You can always stay in your dorm and hang out in your friends' room or one of the many lounges. If that gets boring, head over to the rec center to work out, play basketball, go swimming, play racquetball, volleyball or any other sport you want. When you're tired of playing, watch some student athletes do their thing: all of the athletic activities on campus are free for students. Football games are the most popular- game day is a fanfare with the marching band, the Showgirls and cheerleaders and the student body cheering on the Horned Frogs. For something different, drive 10 minutes into Fort Worth to go for a walk or a jog on the Trinity River trails, or head in to the Botanical gardens to experience nature in one of America's greatest cities. Of course, the all-popular Billy Bob's Texas always has live music, so practice your two-step, put on your boots and head out for a night of dancing!

There is always something going on, on campus, whether it's the Thursday night Senseless Acts of Comedy Improv Troupe, a Friday night movie of popular new releases, or small fun events set up by the Crew. Fort Worth is also bustling with activity. If you're a sucker for country music then you'll love Billy Bob's where ladies get in free on Thursday nights! There's also the annual concert which have hosted artists from Lady Antebellum to The Fray to One Republic and Blake Shelton. Around Christmas you can bet that the commons will be full of people ready for the Christmas Tree Lighting, and if you're looking for a night out, West 7th Street, the Stockyards, Sundance Square, and Downtown Dallas aren't too far away especially with free bus and train transportation available for many off campus places. Finally, don't forget about the Zoo and the beautiful gardens that are just around the corner.

There's a lot to do for fun. All of the athletic competitions are fun. Also, the city of Fort Worth has millions of things to do, and Dallas is only 30 minutes away.
