Most Helpful Review for Texas Christian University

The professors here take their jobs very seriously, and most, if not all, are always willing to help you out. They're easy to approach if you have questions or concerns, and teach their classes so that you will actually learn something. There is a pretty big focus on liberal arts in the TCU core, so no matter your major you will take a wide range of courses. Our business school is nationally ranked, and students graduating from many of our programs have little trouble finding a job or getting into graduate/medical school.

I think it would be a great place to go to school, if you weren't too concerned with actually receiving a Christian education. The campus is beautiful, the academics are good, there is a lot of school spirit, and for the most part the people are friendly. However, there are a lot of students who like to flaunt their money.

The environment is probably one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. I feel like I am at a large university with so many amenities that TCU offers as well as Fort Worth and I couldn't ask for better professors or the education I'm receiving. Although I do have lots of student loans, I believe that it is worth what I am getting and will pay off in the end.

TCU has one of the best music programs in the country; our marching band is one of the best and our drumline is #1, our Symphonic Band is going to CBDNA (one of the best music conventions in the nation) in Spring 2014, and our Wind Symphony is going to TMEA (the best music convention because it is in Texas) in February 2014. At TCU, you are a name and NEVER a number.

TCU is a campus full of intelligent, like minded students that all want the same thing in life, success. Everyone I have met there comes from a gregarious background and is active in a variety of extra curricular activities, ranging anywhere from sports to global clean up clubs. Although it may lack diversity in a ethnic manner it is a great place to excel as not only a student but as a person as well.

TCU is in a really central location. It's not a problem to get there from the airport (which is international). In addition, it's easy to get to the school on the major highways.

TCU has a very welcoming community and does its best to help it's students succeed. It has a very strong sense of school pride, and takes it's traditions very seriously. There is always something to do around campus--never a dull moment.
