The weekends are dead but that is a very good thing. I am busy everyday and the weekends i get to relax and catch up on homework or chores and such. Seguin is also 30 minutes from San Marcos, 40 Minutes from San Antonio and an Hour from Austin. This keeps you focused during the week and allows for you to do whatever you want on the weekend.

From move in, day one, everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. The TLU campus is a comfortable place that truly feels like a family. Because TLU is a small school, I have gotten to know both fellow students and professors very well. TLU is such a great school. It offers many clubs and activities that will fit the needs of anyone. The students and professors are extremely friendly which helped make my transition from high school to college easier. Also, every freshman is given a peer mentor that is a currently enrolled student as well. These peer mentors are awesome because they plan activities for you so that you can get to know more people and how things at TLU work.
