Get involved as soon as you can, whether through clubs or Greek life. Absolutely do not forget about your studies, and take advantage of the Career Center and your academic advisors, they can really help you with your future and career goals. Also, get to know your professors especially on a first name basis; it's never too soon to start building references. Also, if stuggling there are a lot of tutoring opportunities such as SLAC in the library or the Writing Center.
