Texas State is a pretty laid back school where majority of the students and faculty are friendly. The classes are moderately sized allowing greater interaction between the professor and the class. The school is in a great location between San Antonio and Austin allowing for easy travel to either city for recreation on the weekends.

Texas State University has a fantastic campus, with a faculty that truly cares about each individual student. If it were not for the many distractions provided in the area Texas State would be a stronger academic school. The opportunity to learn is here, you just have to embrace it.

Texas State is a beautiful campus with a thriving student population. While it is known for the river, the academic community is not something to scoff at either. The environment is welcoming and unique, it is unlike any place I have ever been to.

I absolutely LOVED my time at Texas State, it really felt like home. Mid and Upper level classes are small, so you really get to know and connect with your professors. You get to float the river!!!

The campus is spread out and fun. The hills keep your legs in a little bit of shape. The San Marcos river right off campus is a simple beauty that everyone can enjoy.
