My parents really love Texas State because they see it as very reasonably priced (considering the quality of campus, the amount of individualized attention students receive, and the comparison rates to other schools).

This school can be pricey, but it is no where near the price of say near UT or UTSA! And it is so worth it! Tuition has risen everywhere in Texas in the past two years, but our school is doing a pretty good job of giving back that rise in tuition with perks. Like a beautiful in PAC, free windows 8 and microsoft 365 for all full-time students, and of course free printing and copying services in the library and Derrick hall! Plus, the sheer natural beauty and warm inviting feeling of campus and its beloved students can't be beat!

Yes, college is expensive, but Texas State is a lot less expensive than many other big name universities and the quality of education is impeccable. It is also affordable, especially if you take advantage of great scholarship opportunities such as those offered by Cappex.
