ATTEND THE EVENTS! The events that TAB (Tech Activities Board) and RHA (Residence Hall Association) hold for students are well worth attending. You go see top-notch comedians and see newly released movies. The movies are usually shown a good time before out on video. I participated in laser tag! YEAH- they bring that too!!! It was awesome!!!

Have you seen the rec? Huge pool, lazy river, volley ball courts and rock climbing!

Above all, make friends. The university provides a lot of campus activities that can be fun. Also, getting involved is the best advice a person can give about college.

For fun us students usually go to parties and the club. The university also has very many events going on that are very much fun.

As for fun, the rec center is a definite must! The leisure pool is absolutely gorgeous. I promise you won't regret ever making a trip out there. On the weekends, there are sites close by if you feel like hitting the town and grabbing a drink with some friends.

Well, thats all a matter of opinion. My roommate and I tried driving around and getting lost one night for fun. (Lubbocks on a grid system so that didnt work so well) but theres a thriving Greek life if you're into that and the Rec center ALWAYS has something going on, not always sports related, but get out there and meet people!

The parties here are cool. But if you are not a party person like myself you can just enjoy the many activities here on campus. There is literally something going on everyday.

Texas Tech is great about making sure that there are always events and activities available to keep students entertained. The nightlife in Lubbock is so much fun, and for students that prefer quieter weekends, the Tech Activities Board provides fun events on the weekends for students who prefer to stay on campus. No matter what you like to do on the weekends, there is something fun for everyone.
