The professors that teach here are wonderful! They are understanding, compassionate and encouraging. They are always open to questions and outside-class time you may need to fully understand the concept.

Tech is a very fun a spirited school. The campus is big and beautiful with artwork in every corner. Tech definitely tries to find the best ways to meet student's needs with resources to study, learn, and relax as well.

Texas Tech is a friendly, accepting university. It isn't very easy once you get in but there is plenty of help available if a person is lagging behind or need some help. They offer plenty of opportunities to get students more involved with the university and accept people who are willing to learn.

Texas Tech is not only in Lubbock but also has satellite schools in the Hill Country. They also offer many degree plans to choose from as well as a Unversity Studies plan that will allow you to choose three concentrations instead of one major. Texas Tech staff in Lubbock is very helpful.

Although Lubbock is not too interesting, there are plenty of activities to do around campus. The academics here are very well organized and top-of-the-line. Advisors and counselors are great; they do everything they can to help you and ensure your success.
