    -Be assertive: Stay on top of everything from deadlines to the end. -Make sure you really really want this because investing as much time and money as you do into this won't end up being worth it if you aren't passionate about what you are doing.

    Some tips for prospective students would be to keep working hard. The training is vigorous in the right areas. If possible, keep in contact with friends outside of school as well, and stay humble throughout the year. There are lots of big personalities and people with bigger egos. Don't let them get to you. The school chose you for a reason and everyone is just as good as the other. Keep focus on why you go to the Boston Conservatory.
