Categories Comments Bang for the buck The program includes NCLEX prep and comprehensive hands on experiences but it is only an ADN program, not a BSN.
Food and Dining Cafeteria and snack shop are available at The Christ Hospital
Dorm Life TCCNHS is not a campus with dorms
Academic Rigor You will learn a lot but you HAVE to make the effort.
Tips for prospective students Use your resources and keep up on your reading assignments. It's much easier to stay on task than try to catch up.
In three sentences The program is very intense but you begin clinicals the first week, so you have hands on experience from the start. There are resources available (study sessions and writing labs) for free which are beneficial. Also, you are given an NCLEX prep outline from the first semester so you get into the groove of studying for boards.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There is a lot of security especially with being connected to a hospital. The doors are locked between certain times and you have to use your student badge to get in the school.
Clubs and Activities There are two student organizations. Student Congress which is the organization that is involved with what is going on around the school. The Student Nurse Association at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences (Snacc) is the organization that connects the school with the community. They do community dinners at a nearby elementary school, Habitat for Humanity, and also attend nursing conferences around the country.
Great for these types of students The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences is great for students who love small schools. It is a small three level building just for nursing.
Bang for the buck All of the professors want you to succeed and will go the extra mile to help you. The college is a clean and friendly environment. I love going to class everyday.
What to do for fun I love to talk to my friends and study in between classes.
Food and Dining The college is connected to The Christ Hospital therefore students eat in the hospital at the cafeteria, Sara Lee shop, or Au Bon Pain Cafe. I love the food there.
Dorm Life There are no dorms at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences. So you have to live off campus and drive or walk (if you live in apartments close enough).
Academic Rigor I don't think that there are any challenges in the academic setting because everyone is there to help you succeed.
Tips for prospective students I would recommend using a tape recorder to record the lectures so you can listen to them again later to make sure you have received all of the material that the professors talked about. Also, work in the skills lab on the skills you need to know before you start going to the hospital on clinical days.
In three sentences The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences is an amazing school. I am taking the two year track so that way I can be a Registered Nurse in two years. I am in my first year of nursing working on my Associate degree and I am already passing medication.
