Established in 1827, The General Theological Seminary is a private, Christ-centered institution located in New York City. General offers two certificate programs, a diploma program in Anglican Studies, and five master’s degree programs including a Master of Arts with four concentration options in Anglican Studies, Ascetical Theology, Biblical Studies, and Theological and Historical Studies. Students at General take part in a Middler-Year observational field placement program, which features ten hours per week of practical, real-world ministry experience with a mentor.
