Tips for prospective students I would definitely suggest that you check out the campus at both the open house (all access tour) and one of their daily tours.
Bang for the buck Everybody here has had or is still in the industry they are teaching about. The teachers are professional and helpful to everybody. Top of the line professional equipment all over the school.
Will enjoy being here The staff here are really great! They're fun, easy to talk to, and are willing to help students whenever they may need it.
Will learn a lot I have not yet attended this school but will in March of this year (2011.)

Categories Comments What to do for fun you can do everything you would do from wherever you happen to be from and then some. Amusement parks, beaches, dining, concerts, movie premiers, etc.
Food and Dining You cant walk ten steps without finding a place to eat. Los Angeles/Hollywood is full of variety dining experiences.
Dorm Life They have a beautiful location for an apartment complex they work through. It's just a little difficult to get in.
Academic Rigor They are widely known and one of the three major film based colleges in the area.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you tour your school campus. Just like having to interview in person for a job, you need to see your school yourself before you can make a decision. Also, get as much taken care of before your start date as you can.
In three sentences It's a highly active and entertaining area with a great school that provides quality education with hands on experience. A little expensive but I'm sure will be worth it with the projects you will leave with in the end.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Very safe campus. We all have ID's that allow us into the building and unlock doors for us to get around. Then there's security to make sure people don't enter the school who dont belong there.
Clubs and Activities Guilds for literally every aspect of Film, Video Game design, Animation etc. And you can learn so much more and network.
Bang for the buck It's an expensive school but if you are dedicated. The sheer number of contacts and networking will help propel your career so it's worth it in my opinion. Job placement would be nice, but not realistic, since nothing is handed to you in Hollywood.
What to do for fun LA FILM is located 1 block from Vine and Sunset. Party central. So many clubs not to mention all the surrounding areas. This is Hollywood after all.
Food and Dining The school is in the heart of Hollywood, there is a LOT of great food.
Dorm Life There are no dorms here, but there are lots of apartments in the area from Hollywood BLVD to Sunset and all the surrounding areas.
Academic Rigor The schedule is busy. But totally worth it. Most classes are 6 hours a days with only 2 classes. Other days just one, three hour class. Sometime we go to class on weekends.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you come here prepared to work, learn, and read. It's so much fun here, but a lot of hard work. Since you work with industry professionals you really learn the nuts and bolts of Hollywood, and it's not all glitz and glamor, but it's very rewarding. The networking here is amazing since the school really focuses on teaching us to meet people, having guest speakers, and inter-program mixers. All in all I love this school but not for the faint of heart.
In three sentences Very knowledgeable staff who work in the Entertainment Industry. The most update resources and technology are used as teaching tools with a lot of hands on experience. Different programs and lengths to accommodate anyone.

Categories Comments Campus Safety It's is a very safe campus. There is security guards at every entrance checking to make sure everyone is a student walking in and out.
Great for these types of students People who like to learn hands on and work with equipment first thing.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The most unusual location on campus is the mid term stages where you build and paint your set and shoot a short scene
What to do for fun Anything, write, shoot a short, walk the city it is right on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood so there is plenty to see for inspiration
Food and Dining There is a small cafe called brain food cafe, and they sell panini's and sandwhiches and smoothies, coffee's things like that
Dorm Life There is no dorms
Academic Rigor It's very hands on, and there is little to know outside work except for a few months, most classes are based on attendance and participation
Tips for prospective students Attend this school, if you are interested in anything that has to do with film.
In three sentences I love this school and am very glad I decided to attend it.
