Great for these types of students

    Adult learners, transfer students.

    Bang for the buck

As a person with a boatload of transfer credit, I was quite pleased that they accepted twice as much as some other schools I applied to - a considerable saving in time and money. The bachelor's/masters accelerated option is another great feature. I look forward to taking some intriguing graduate courses while finishing my bachelors.

    Food and Dining

I don't know what the school provides, but being close to every variety of shop and restaurant (this is NYC after all) I can't believe anyone would have difficulty finding something to suit them.

    Dorm Life

The school invests in providing housing within the challenging environment of New York City. I have not explored this as I will live off campus with friends. Nice buildings on campus, however.

    Academic Rigor

Courses on up-to-date, relevant content. A great mix of academic and skills-oriented courses; I like that you can learn things to benefit your fellow humans.

    Tips for prospective students

Opportunities to complete certificates in TESOL, or Creative Arts Therapy while accumulating credit toward your degree.

    In three sentences

One of the seven schools of the New School, a private institution with a history of innovation. Centrally located in New York City. Study alongside students in design, liberal arts, music, film and business.
