For the type of student that loves people and loves to learn, this college is for you! I believe that with the diversity and the wide range of opportunities that present themselves at this school it is for everyone who has the ultimate desire to succeed in life. Some people say the school is too big, but it offers small close- knit dorms and living learning communities that are similar to small liberal arts schools. Some say it is too much of a party school, but ultimately that area is a choice of the student. This college is for any student that wants to go far in life and this university helps make dreams come true! read full review

Coming from the International Baccalaureate school The University of Alabama has not been a very challenging school. If you were a well-versed academic student during your time in high school do not expect any of the core classes to give you much trouble. It is only when you begin to move in your area of expertise that you will find the difficulty increasing. I feel I was thoroughly prepared for the University of Alabama so academically wise I do not believe it has granted me much. I will admit socially Alabama has vigorously heightened my understanding towards dealing with other people. At Alabama you learn interactions with a plethora of varying students, especially if you are in a Living Learning Community or The Honors College, will be inevitable. read full review
