First and foremost, the games are AMAZING! Tailgating on the quad is one of the best social experiences. I got my LSU ticket for $5 when non-students had to pay over $200 dollars. At least once a week there are free interest fairs in the Ferguson Center. The food is pretty good and the people are full of southern hospitality.

I even picked out just the right dorm and poked around Sorority Row to find my mom's old sorority as well as all of my friends'. They're all right next door to each other! Also, the dorm I picked is situated right beside Sorority Row next to the football stadium so not only will I never miss a game, I'll be living with all my new friends, my math class will be attached to my dorm and the journalism department, as well as the library and the Crimson White office, is a two minute walk from the dorm! What could be better? Hasta la vista Georgia, I'm a Bama girl now!

Grocery prices are really high, but rent is really low. I've had fun, but if you're looking for fun and an active lifestyle, there's a reason Florence is rated as one of America's #1 retirement communities.
