Around Town

There are a ton of places to go skiing, hiking, kayaking, whatever. The area might not be fun if you don't like outdoor activities because the nearest city is like 7 hours away.

There are a lot of clubs to get involved with at the university. The central green is a nice place to play some games. There are also a lot of parks near the campus, and the town is very bike friendly with bike trails so you can escape for a while if you'd like. The mall is about 10 minutes away which is well stocked with multiple stores, and downtown has a lot of nice cafe's and shopping stores.

There are plenty of activities to do on campus. For example, there's concert band and choir activities, intramural sports,, the gym, the university center, pool, and much more.

There are so many options! Every outdoor activity you can think of in a mountain town near rivers and lakes. A thriving arts scene with theater, live music of every genre, visual and film arts, etc.

Montana is all about outside so if your outdoor person this is the best school for you. There is any outside activity you can thing of, and they even have college courses for them too! If your an indoor person there is still so much to do even here on campus there is so many clubs but also in the dorm rooms they do activities everyday! Trust me you won't be bored at all, it's very fun here.

Be outdoors, go downtown, volunteer, hike the mountain and the base of campus, etc.

Hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking you name it's here in Missoula. If it's not in Missoula you are seriously only minutes away from white water rafting, fishing or anything outdoorsy.
