There are also a lot of parks near the campus, and the town is very bike friendly with bike trails so you can escape for a while if you'd like. The mall is about 10 minutes away which is well stocked with multiple stores, and downtown has a lot of nice cafe's and shopping stores.

Trust me you won't be bored at all, it's very fun here.
