Around Town

Right across the Hillsborough River is Downtown Tampa. A simple walk or taxi ride can take you through Downtown, Channelside or Soho. Tampa is home to sports teams like the Bucs and Lightning, The Straz Center, crazy night life, and much more!

We are located right in downtown and close to 2 great malls, so there is always something to do. Downtown in walking distance, gives a bit of the ny feeling.

The Tampa Bay area offers a lot to prospective students. UT is close to the active night life of Ybor City and just a short drive to Florida's pristine Gulf Coast beaches. Theme parks of the Orlando area are only a mere 2 hour drive.

There are many things to do in downtown Tampa. Many restaurants, shopping plazas, clubs and bars, and museum exhibits.

There is so much to do, sorority cluns, sports activities, drams, music, cultural get togethers.

Ybor is a lot of fun and downtown is right across the river.

If you aren't a partier, there isn't much here to do. There isn't much near the campus going on except clubs and house parties.

There are loads of things to do for fun on campus or even in the area. There are always open might nights, movies on campus, family weekend, and just random Spartan sprite events to keep student moral up.

There is Ybor a Cuban town, Beached are only 20 or so minutes away. The shore is a great place to run. Two malls close by.

For fun I like to get involved with the organizations. I volunteer with the P.E.A.C.E center which gives out a lot of opportunities to help within the community. I'm not personally in one, but we have several good fraternities and sororities groups to choose from. They look great on resumes.
