Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. What Students Are Saying

UTC offers a very diverse group of students, I love this because out of all the other schools I applied and were accepted to, lacked minorities.
UTC's campus is beautiful, it offers appealing landscapes and historic buildings, so there's just as much to learn inside the classroom as outside.
Finally, Chattanooga is an amazing city in itself, so you do not have to stray too far away from campus to have a good time in the city, there is also plenty of outdoor activities to take part in throughout Chattanooga's great outdoors.
Kaila from Antioch, TN
It is a clean, safe campus with friendly staff and friendly students.
Valeria from Maryville, TN
Attending UTC was an amazing choice! Even though I am so far from home, I feel at home here too! Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful.
Megan from Huntingdon, TN
UTC is an excellent school because of the affordability, convenience, and educational programs. The school is on the rise in the State of Tennessee and I have never met a student that dislikes it. The simplicity of life, mixed with the downtown location makes it the perfect place to go to college!
