Great for these types of students students that like health science and are used to large cities.
Bang for the buck it is s state institution and the tuition is very low but you do have to consider living expenses and houston is not a place with low cost living.
What to do for fun houston has everything and anything. from recreational activities to night life. the city is very diverse and people are friendly.
Food and Dining houston has an extensive choice of restaurants that are good and inexpensive.
Dorm Life no dorms available
Academic Rigor a lot of classes require quizes every week and there is a fair amount of presentations you will have to do.
Tips for prospective students make sure you completed all your prerequisites and have the classes you have taken validated by the school or you will have to re take some classes. keep in mind that if your program includes clinic time and you might not be able to work.
In three sentences great school if you are looking for a bachelors degree in programs that in other schools would only count as a certification. you will train in hospitals within the medical center and obtain a lot of experience.
