All professors are approachable. Everyone greets you with a smile and academic advisors welcome you and tell you exactly what you need to do to get things done. There are learning centers with available tutors throughout the day if ever you need help with any of your classes. There is online help as well. It actually becomes easy to study so it no longer feels like a chore. Study groups can be found everywhere and welcome newcomers.

The University of Texas-Pan American has given me the opportunity to challenge myself academically, become involved, and make friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. The location of this university is perfect for a native from the Rio Grande Valley and the tuition is inexpensive. The professors I've had have been good and the student life here just keeps excelling. With the new merger, I think more great things will come from this university.

UTPA has an awesome faculty and staff. Each one does a satisfactory job in teaching and leading the university. I would not change this university experience for the world.

Just like any other university. I enjoy attending this college due to it not being so complicated to find a class. I just dislike the parking area.

Please don't go here!! Most of the teachers are awful and although it is one of the cheapest schools it is not worth it.

It is a very diverse University, in both cultures and programs. There are a lot of organizations, sports, clubs, sororities, fraternities for students to join. If you are having trouble in anything there is a building with people to help you fix the problem.

UTPA is a campus where most of the students who attend commute from home so parking is not all that great but the professors and the overall experience is awesome.
