The diversity at UTA allows development of a global perspective for all majors. Teachers are typically flexible with office hours and check email regularly to help with any problems. Campus advising centers are good at replying in an acceptable amount of time, appointments are easy to make and usually right to the point.

It's cheaper than other universities. It's diverse. The social scene is a little dead.

UTA has a lot of diversity and teachers teaching what they know. They value your opinion and have a lot of fun events to attend. They are a business though, and will seek all kinds of ways to get your money.

The key to the awesomeness at the University of Texas at Arlington is its balance of big school resources and research with small school attitude of caring. They make everything comfortable for commuters and residents alike and even though you're in the middle of one of the largest urban areas in the country it still feels like a small college town once you're on campus.
