Campus Life

There's not much more than a couple places to get something to eat on-campus: Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and a small cafeteria. However, Brownsville has many restaurants that don't drain out your wallet and that actually have good food.

There is a lot of food in Brownsville and sometimes the campus has gatherings where the food is free.

Indeed food is available all over our campus. We have cafeterias and restaurants that are close to the campus. So if we get hungry we either walk to a restaurant or go to the cafeteria at campus.

The food is great although it may sometimes be a little pricey.

There is a variety of food available for everyone's taste.

Although there isn't much of a variety of food on campus, just across the street there is places to eat and also further there is great Mexican restaurants that you won't want to miss out on.

Inside the university they have a small restaurant inside the comedor, which is very tasteful and at a good price.

THERE IS A WIDE VARIETY OF PLACES TO EAT AROUND CAMPUS. YOU CAN ALMOST SATISFY YOUR CRAVING EVERYTIME FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVERY DAY.

There are some restaurants within walking distance of UTB. These include Burger King, McDonalds, Churchs, Nolita NY Pizza, and Subway. If you have a car, then you can go to the mall to have dessert at Red Mango or eat at Texas Roadhouse, Lin's or Luby's.

We have two fraternities and two sororities each frat partners with one sorority.

I do not recommend the Greek life there if the students don't have a lot of money or if they do not like to volunteer.
