Despite what many people say about the teachers at this University, I truly believe that I have received a quality education here thus far :)

I used to attend another college for three years and let me tell you in two semesters enrolled at UT Brownsville I have learned twice as much. UT has great instructors. They really know their stuff. I recommend this university to anyone that is serious and ready to prepare themselves for the future with good credentials and knowledge.

The University of Texas at Brownsville, has a very important place in my life, it means the opportunity for a better tomorrow. Nowadays,it is extremely important to have a college degree or technical certification, in order to find a well paid job. I would describe my life in two phases, before and after UTB, my life is better unfortunatelly, I didn't had the money to attend last semester Spring 2013, but hopefully I can attend this Fall 2013.

THE THING ABOUT UTB IS THAT THEY DON'T REALLY OFFER YOU CLASSES THAT PERTAIN TO THE FIELD YOU ULTIMATELY WANT TO STUDY. FOR EXAMPLE SOME COLLEGES HAVE DIFFERENT BRANCHES FOR BIOLOGY MAJORS SUCH AS BIOLOGY PRE-D MED, PRE-PHARMACY PRE-DENTAL AND THEN YOU TAKE SPECIFIC COURSES THAT PERTAIN TO YOUR FIELD OF STUDY. IT IS NOT LIKE THAT HERE. THEY JUST HAVE BIOLOGY AS A MAJOR AND THAT COULD BE FOR ANYONE EX. FUTURE TEACHER, BIOLOGIST, DENTIST, ETC.
